Wetland zones are far more than just large bodies of water that we create or modify. While we do help moderate the expansion and health of various bodies of water, we are primarily interested in the overall health that these bodies have upon the local ecology. Rivers, streams and ponds are the bodies that we work with most often, as they are the ones most commonly found in the areas that we are called in upon to assist with.

Since rivers, streams, ponds, lakes and most other bodies of water found in areas that are near residential areas are freshwater, most of the time, it is more important to ensure that these bodies are healthy for the local wildlife and population to drink from. While these water zones can undergo filtration that is a process that does not need to take place if you can map out the best ways to flourish those areas.
Water will cause plants to grow faster and will provide a beautiful resort when you want to get away from the bustle of modern life. With healthy bodies of water you can enjoy good fishing, swimming or just getting away for a nice afternoon or camping trip.
